Insanely Awe-dical

It's been forever since I've posted, so let me try to run down what's been going on...

- Kate and I got a dog! A young 3-4 month old pup and we named her Snatch. According to urbandictionary.com, the third definition for Snatch is the awesome movie you should be thinking of when you hear the name Snatch. She's been a real handful, but I'm doing a little better with dogs now.

She hasn't had her shots yet, so we she can't play with other dogs yet, but that doesn't stop her from crapping all over the place. One potential post title I was thinking of was "I have never stared at an asshole for so long" in reference to when we walked her around waiting for her to poo outside so we can praise her and begin training her. Alas, she has not yet pooed once in a desirable place, so 2-3 times a day * 3 weeks = lots of fucking poo to pick up. I believe I have gone through about 2 tubs of those anti-bacterial wipes which have become my best friend since my poo-cleaning duties have begun.

- Olga visited town, and we all went to Landry's and had a nice seafood dinner. Good times, like talking about UNLVino, the awesome mai-tais there, the stoned waitress. It's good hanging out.

- Saw Gym Class Heroes in concert. It's funny how when Kate and I went to see Fall Out Boy, we saw GCH open, The Academy Is follow, Midtown then FOB. Then now I see GCH headline their own tour, albeit in Jillian's (basically the equivalent of Dave & Busters). They were fucking awesome and the crowd was way into it. Travis really brings it and has a great stage presence. Cobra Starship played right before them, and they were pretty damn good too -- perhaps the next band i need to research and become obsessed with. Stay tuned.

I have a horrible memory, so I'll leave with this. Next time I promise to be more insightful and hilarious. Today was more of a recap. I'm busy telling my dog not to lick the power outlets to sit down and make a well informed and thought out post.

The picture? Oh yah I was looking for some random picture to represent this thought stream. I started out google imaging for "chapter one", "prologue" etc. I google imaged "opening" and got a close up shot of a girl's crotch wearing lingerie. What's that about? Jeopardy had a clue "1 followed by one hundred zeroes." The answer, of course, is google, but it's been a while since I thought of Google as a number and not a search engine conglomerate.
