"I've had enough of the world and its people' mindless games" -- Incubus
"Pardon Me" by Incubus is playing on my mp3 player, and it brings back flashbacks of Kairos, but for some reason, my mind imagines it as some convoluted mess of vivid music video imagery, coupled with small bits of footage from Kairos with the alliteration of the name of the lead singer of Incubus escaping me at the moment.
I remember Daniel LOVING Incubus, which was a surprise since that was one of only rock-type music he'd listen to, and might be to him what Blink 182 was to me.
I liked Clone High a lot, and I'm sad to know it's gone, but happy to know it wasn't continued story-wise. I have felt that way about some stories before, but I can't remember.
Oh -- Of Mice and Men. I wished they could have lived wonderful lives on the farm they wanted, but it wasn't meant to be.
Then I realized part of the poignantness of it lies in its tragedy (as do many Shakespearean tales).
