Today's Japanese lesson, courtesy of Lindsey:
(hito no kintama wo nigiru): to grab a person by his vulnerable spot; to curry favour with one's superior. (the literal translation is "to grab a person by the balls")
Language can be so expressive -- when one thing can mean so many things. Of course, vulgarity has its moments at times (google the many uses of fuck, and you'll see what I mean).
