Chillin at home with Snatch...
She's crawlin all over me as I try to post. I just played T&C Surf Design today. It was awesome. I'm awesome at the surfing part of it. It was a good old school experience. I realized that I'm better at some games, and way worse at others, like Low-G man, which i used to be awesome at. I played some Tecmo Super Bowl. It was made in 1991, and NY Giants dominated with Phil Simms and Lawrence Taylor, while the Buffalo Bills dominated with "QB Bills" Andre Reed, and Thurman Thomas. Back when I used to actually know football players.
Check out this little excerpt I made about me and Kate trying to get the Wii:
Walmart - 7:15 am. I feel good. I'm ready to get it. I see a line, but am undaunted -- there are plenty for everyone. They are surrounded by a blue-vested Wal-mart attendee. A lady is complaining to him that we followed directions, and they didn't, and they got rewarded. The situation unfolds, and we are informed that raincheck tickets were given to people yesterday. We had all called Wal-mart, and they told us - first come, first serve 8am. We were screwed. Another Wal-mart perhaps.
We go to Wal-mart number 2 - 7:45. The line is small, and I am confident. If there was a similar raincheck mishap, they would have been informed by now, and I make a point to enjoy the moment of victory. With the front of the line in sight, I believe I am about 10th in line. 30 Wiis at the prevoius Walmart, so this should be no different, right? WRONG. Lady comes by and gives us the news -- only 5 available. Kate and I talk about how that sucks, and in fact the price of the pre-order would have been worth the 4-5 trips we've made to various places (BB, Target, Walmart, etc).
Wii -- you are out of reach for now, but soon enough..
So a friend of mine said big N said they'd have 4 million units out soon. The search shouldn't be tough later. I know that my posts have been noticeably lame. It's cuz I'm noticeably tired at the moment. I'm not even sure how to spell noticeably.
